Do you know what your most valuable asset is? Time.
Your time is spent building up secondary assets. One of those assets is knowledge. Your knowledge and expertise creates value for someone. They pay you for that value. In some cases, that compensation is in the form of a pension or 401k match.
Now I am a firm believer in spending time to acquire the knowledge to manage your other assets. As those assets appreciate, you will gain future time.
Unfortunately, the majority of people don't spend the time to gain this knowledge of their other assets. They rely on others to have this expertise. But what happens when the experts are wrong? What happens when the information the experts rely on is faulty?

I've had this question for a long time. I know the USA is printing money like crazy. But also, countries around the world are doing the same thing with their currencies. So isn't it a wash? Why does it matter?
